Peter;
The first thing we could try is to uninstall both Labview and NI-DAQ completelly. After that go to the windows registry editor (Start->Run->regedit or regedt32) and delete, if there are, both Labview and NI-DAQ folders. Remove your DAQ board from the machine. Reinstall only NI-DAQ (version 6.9.1, if possible. You can download from our web site). Shutdown your machine and put your board back. Run test panel. If same prob shows, try to use a different slot on the same machine. If even that doesn't work, try to repete the same steps on a different machine (with Windows 98, if possible) to test the hatdware. If same problem shows, the board is bad.
You also have the option on going to http://www.ni.com/support/daq/winnt/pnp/pnt.htm to check some troubleshooting methods
we recomend.
Hope this helps.
