I have a problem the interfaces (serial an GBIB) in a application who was build with LabView 6.1. It is not possible to choose the interface because the pull down menu is not activated (grey). It appears with Win NT and Win2K (with local admin). On some machines the program runs. Have anybody an idea to solve the problem.
What pull down menu are you talking about? If it's the VISA Resource Name, then you have to install VISA. A built LabVIEW application does not include this.
I think Dennis hit it on the nail. If you do not have VISA installed, or do not have any VISA resources for it to find (no GPIB, serial, parallel resources) it would be empty.
