precision of number in chart

hello,

I've made a Vi who can trace the characteristic curve. All is ok but sometimes I see a stable period in the curve. But in fact the spots are not stable but the difference between them is too small. I've got this values for exemple : 0,00634436 and 0,00634259. In the cart the value is 0,0063. I need to increase the senssibility of the chart but I couldn't succes.

How can I do this ?

Thanks a lot for your help !

Hi Emmanuel,

you can change the settings for the chart, but why do you need such precision values in your chart?

Thanks,

I try to change the setting but nothing change in the chart.

I need this precision because I cannot have a big current and I need to measure low resistance. So my voltage doesn't change a lot. When I export my curve in excel, it's a line but not in Labview.

When I have 7 significant numbers for the Y axis, nothing change.

I don't know what to do.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Emmanuel,

if you select a smaller range, then the numbers will be better. In which range do you need this precision? From 0 to 10 won´t be possible. Smiley Wink

Hi Mike,

I'm in auto range !

But then I'm in my table and in my chart the values are in V.  But my Keithley measure values in mV or µA ...

Thanks !
