perspective dot minimum required

Hi,
using the perspective correction method via visual assistant, how many dots are required to generate a map?
i have tried using four and if refuses to use that few.
does anyone know the minimum required?

after a bit of playing about i have found that 9 is a magic number, i have no idea if less works,
but i can confirm that 4 doesn't.

could you elaborate on your problem please? Are you referring to the Vision Assistant? Would it be possible to attach the code that produces unexpected results?
