Hi all,
I am developing an application which will call multiple VI through dynamic occurrence.
Whenever I called the VI, one occurrence, and ref num are created,
I know that, occurrence is used to create a unique memory space to run VI.
But what is the necessity of refnum?
Otherwise tell me the relationship between occurrence and refnum. ?
In some others Post, I saw, some of them used two terns, refnum and VI refnum.
Is both are same or different? I was little confused while seeing...........
Please clarify my doubts........
Thanks
Ram

hi partha,
can you explain the same in details . coz past 1.5 months only i am using labview...
explain with some example, it would be somewhat easier for me to understand.
and you didn't explain about occurences.
Thanks

Occurences are functions meant for synchronization of the various parts of the code.
Have you tried to search the LV Example Finder for them? You ll get some good examples to get started quickly.
When you generate an occurence, the other parts of the code will wait for an occurence to be set, to stop waiting for it & then only those parts will get executed.
