noise and dithering 2

I want to reduce the noise and I read about dithering,
I´m using the daq 6024e, and I need to know if I only need to enable dithering with MIO config, or if I must enable dithering with MIO and add gaussian noise to the signal externly with hardware, before to put the signal in the pci 6024e...

Hi Jav
