I am developing some software for the PXI 565X RF Sig Gen's and I am using the NI-RFSG C references. My question is, for the REF IN/OUT connector on the PXI card what is the syntax I need to put for the clock source to use REF IN when I attach an external reference?

I see the webpage says "ViStatus niRFSG_ConfigureRefClock (ViSession vi, ViConstString clockSource, ViReal64 refClockRate);" Should "Ref IN" work for the ViConstString clockSource parameter? 

 

By the way I am creating an FSC in Fluke's MetCal and do not have access to Labview.
