Did you mean:

ni_tagger_lv_ConnectBuffer.vi

cRIO 9004

Using some shared variables to communicate (non-buffered, published) between the host VI on the PC and the cRIO RT VI.

Occasionnaly when I start my windows Host VI which programatically starts the cRIO RT exe, when the shared vars start to deloy I get an error dealing with ni_tagger_lv_ConnectBuffered.vi and I am told to close and restart.

I reboot my CRIO but this does not always work, restart my PC does not always work.

Why would this error be coming up?

Hi Ryan,

It appears, based on the error that you are seeing, that you need to install shared variable support software on your Real-Time system. The two software components that you need to install include: Network Variable Engine and Variable Client Support. The following KnowledgeBase details the process that you need to complete to successfully install these components on your RT system:

Let me know if this fixs the issue that you are having. Thanks and have a good evening.

Those items were already installed on the system in question.  The system was running fine before.

The only fix that worked was to reformat the flash drive and reinstall the software.
