The exe should have all of the necessary functions in the driver and you should not need to install anything else. Something is causing a syntax error. Has the exe ever worked? Have you turned on NI-Spy/NI-Trace to look at the commands being sent?

Your issue seems to be related to communication problems with the device. I would recommend you to post this in a new discussion forum, because this one is already closed and is related with another issue. You can add more information about this issue: was this working before? Is the .exe for this device? Is it working in the develop computer?
