myRIO Vs Arduino

Why do we use myRIO instead of Arduino? As Arduino is available at the very reasonable price as compared to myRIO.

Why do we use LabView instead of MATLAB?

Do you write programs in G?  Do you want them to run head less without needing to be connected to a PC?  Do you want built in Wifi, USB Host, do you want an FPGA also written in G?  Do you want to leverage the power of the Linux community?  Do you have a need for vision application via a USB camera?  Then you probably want a myRIO.

Do you like to write in G?  Do you like to talk to various instrumentation?  Do you like rapid prototyping?  LabVIEW is very good at these things where MATLAB has other strengths.
