Is there some way to remove the 'cursor buttons' from the waveform graph?
There is a cosmetic issue when I resize the front panel of a data analysis tool... If I 'shrink the window, the cursor buttons are displaced to odd locations (such as on top of the cursor legend). Then when the window is 'grown' to a larger size, the buttons stay on top of the cursor legend.
Any ideas?

You can use the colour tool to paint it transparent. I know that's an ugly work-around.
Usually what I do (aother work-around) is to place it below the graph, you can move it independently from the cursor legend and set it at the back (hit Ctrl+Shift+J when it's selected to move is to the back).
I don't think it's possible to make it invisible when the cursor legend is visible.
We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak.
