meter with memory

I want to achieve an energy meter, this energy will be send to the grid from photovoltaic power plant

I made a counter with a (feedbak node) but when the problem stops running labview or when I leave the counter will be reset

I'm looking for a way to store the last value of the meter (indicator) in memory area, or I take as a default value, before stopping or leaving labview

Your question is not much clear please make it clear. You can use a file to save the default/last value and you can retrive at any time or else.
