memory usage metrics

Is their a way I can quickly get the "code" size for all vis and subvis?  If I go file->vi properties->memory usage I can get the code size for 1 vi, but I need to get it for the vi and all subvis.  Thanks.

Maybe you can open the VI Hierarchy & then rt click on each VI to see its properties. Smiley Happy

I know I ve NOT given you the correct answer, but there is NO direct way to achieve what you want, atleast in LV 7.1... Smiley Sad

So, this is the shortest possible work-around because it eliminates the opening of each n every VI manually. Smiley Wink

I have attached a basic VI that will sum up the VIs datasizes.  You may need to modify it for your specific needs. LV8.0
