Hi,
I actually think this problem is unrelated to LabVIEW but is more a result of a bad RPCRT4.DLL file. The solution will depend on your operating system: if the OS is Win95, Win98, or WinNT 4.0 with SP4, you'll want to check out this Microsoft Support KB 216889:
FIX: DCOM95 1.2 or DCOM98 Causes Data Corruption in RPC Calls.
However, if you have a newer version of Windows, you probably just want to try replacing the rpcrt4.dll. This site provides the DLL for you to download:
http://www.dll-files.comAfter downloading the file, follow these steps to replace the old one with the new:
1. Start Registry Editor (Start >> Run >> type 'regedit').
2. Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Rpc\ClientProtocols
3. Click the ClientProtocols key.
4. First, create a backup of the existing dll: on the File menu, click Export.
5. Save the file with different backup name.
6. Import the new file: click File, and then click Import.
7. Select the new dll file that you saved, and then click Open.
8. Quit Registry Editor.
9. Restart your computer. Relaunch MAX and/or LabVIEW.
Hope this helps!
