Hi Bhaskar,

I believe that I will need some additional information to help you out.  First, please take a look at the following KnowledgeBase which may help resolve the issue.  The error describe in that KnowledgeBase occurs when the script server cannot be initialized.  If this does not help, can you please take a look at this KnowledgeBase and post this information along with a screen shot of the error that you are receiving?

Best of luck on your application, and have a wonderful day!!

Hi everybody,

I have the same problem when trying to launch MatrixX 71.6. I receive an "Xmath" license error telling me to make sure that I'm referring to the right host (by seeing LM_LICENSE_FILE). Moreover, it gives me the FLEXlm error -96,7 and the System Error: 11001 "WinSock: Host not found".

I read the FLEXlm user manual. It tells me that the -96 error is "Server node is down or not responding. See the system administrator about starting the server, or
make sure that you’re referring to the right host (see LM_LICENSE_FILE)". I tryed to create an environment varialble called "LM_LICENSE_FILE" setting its value to the license path but Matrixx still does not work.

Best regards
