mark events on a chart

I would like to mark an event on a chart. Example I'm injecting fluids into a detector, I'd like to mark the injection point on the graph, even though there's a lag until the analog singla is indicated by the detector.

See the attached example on how to do this with a waveform chart. You could use the same technique with a waveform graph or xy graph.
