lose scaling info when converting DSC 7.1 scf to DSC 2010 SV lib

When migrating a LabVIEW DSC 7.1 scf file to a shared variable library for a LabVIEW 2010 project, I notice that the scaling and update deadband information for each tag/variable is lost - is this to be expected?

If this is normal, is there a preferred way to retrieve scaling and deadband parameters from the old scf configuration and incorporate into the new shared variables without having to re-edit each individual variable?

I'm examining ways that to import the scaling and other info. However, an initial search doesn't yield any solutions.  I'll keep you updated on what I find.
