Hello,

I saved all my projects vi's in llb and now today i get a message that an error has occured while listing the contents of llb. I tried to open it but it doesn't show any files though it shows that the llb file is of 4.5 mb. Please help me to decorrupt it. I tried the decorruptor but it didn't work   :(. Please help me urgently as am very much worried and worst of all I don't have any backup for it. I am attaching the llb file if any of u could please help me recover it. It had almost 50 vi files.

Hey Vedeja,

I had exactly the same problem as you. I have an llb file which has my entire project and am not able to recover. Can you please tell me how you did it?

Krunal:

Look in your temp directory for an .LLB file that has similar size and changed date as your corrupted library.
If you don't know what your temp dir is you can find it under Options/Paths. My backup was named
'tarc24805840.llb' yet of same size as my corrupted library.

I have the same issue, but I don't see any file .llb in my temp folder.  Is there any more way to recover the corrupted llb file?

If you'ev tried everything mentioned, I'm not sure what else can be done.

Lessons learned - use source code control and a regular backup plan, and never use an llb for code in development.

Hopefully it will be learned this time.  The user said this happened a couple of times before...

I wish I knew why the llb option still exists. Is there any good reason to use one?
