lifa base error to compile

Hello,

I tried to upload the lifa base with the arduino software but it gives the following erro

Arduino: 1.0.6 (Windows 7), Board: "Arduino Mega 2560 or Mega ADK"
C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\RobotIRremote\IRremoteTools.cpp:5: error: 'TKD2' was not declared in this scope

I tried to use lynx and it was uploaded with no error but when I tried to use the initialation of arduino in the front diagram of labview, it gives an error which means there is a hidden error in the uploading.

I tried to reinstall visa driver 15 and different version of arduino softwatware but this doesnt work.

Thanks,

Zied

Lots of people have problems compiling LIFA.  I made a quick and dirty way of uploading the hex file using another program.

Also be aware that LIFA isn't seeing any more updates and NI recommends going to LINX.  Not that anything is broken with LIFA, so don't feel obligated to migrate.

Hi,

Itried to upload the hex file with xloader but it gives an error saying it can't upload. I checked the port is available and not used by other software but still not working.

Cheers,

Zied

Hi Zied,

There is a forum thread dedicated to LIFO, if you would like to browse through the posts for potential solutions.
