leer datos de excel

MUY BUENAS TARDES...

estoy realizando un programa en labview que lea datos de una hoja de excel generada por otro programa de labview... la idea es con un ring mostrar los datos de la opcion deseada......entonces deseo leer los datos correspondientes a esa fila y separarlos en arrays.....el problema esq cuando lo leo y los muestro en un indicador este me muestra unos caracteres todos raros.... lo pruebo con un txt y todo sale bien, pero con una hoja de excel si salen unos caracteres raros...

Sorry Jose I do not speak Spanish well enough to explain to you answer so if you do not understand it maybe we can get someone to translate it.

The problem that you are having is very typical when reading Excel files. In order to read files that are generated by excel you must use the ActiveX component in LabVIEW. There are examples in the example finder that will show you how to work with Active X and excel. There is also a whole message board here on the forum dedicated to using ActiveX with excel.  If at all possible I would make my data that is excel into just a tab delimited text file, that way you do not have to use ActiveX and excel. Using Active X is kind of dangerous because Microsoft does not have to tell you when they are changing the components of Excel.
