When I program in an FPGA VI and try to compile it , it shows th error, "The compile worker cannot perform the compilation. The compile worker may be configured incorrectly for this compilation or it may be in an error state"  and then, Xilinx 10.1 is not installed. but i reinstalled the tools sevaral times from the original CD.

i checked the fpga compiler and it says it is already running in this machine.

Please help me out.

What FPGA are you trying to do a compile for?  Which Xilinx Tools do you have installed?  The Xilinx 10.1 is a seperate install from the standard disc.  So you may need to download it.

Can you send screenshot of Labview FPGA Compile worker? You can check registered capabilities on right click compile worker icon.

The problem got solved. the xilinx version was the problem..thank u very much for the responses.

• You can thanks a person on the forum by giving them a Kudo.  A user on the forums can Kudo a post by another user once, but multiple users can Kudo the same post which can highlight posts that a collection of users find useful.
