Job Summary
Finalize and document the Automation Platform high level architecture
and design.
Develop a philosophy for automation development that allows flexible
configuration and portability of applications and configurations with
each test platform. Allow for redirection of test script execution
based on the pass/fail status for the prior VI.
Create a VI template for recording VI tasks and handling errors
Design and implement automated game regression tests for Power Cycle,
Tilts, Verified Play Testing (verify reel stops to paytable) and
initial protocol verifications

Implement a review process for all automation scripts.
Utilize a file control system to store approved scripts.
Establish a library of low level VI's to be used in automation
scripting, publish these to the Product Assurance web page.
Implement Test Stand capabilities to perform higher level testing
control and logging.
Create a documentation for the deployment systems that cover system
set up, test script configuration and test script execution. This is
to be used by the test engineers during their test phase.
Participate in Phase 2 ASP efforts on a part time basis, with a goal
of migrating the Product Assurance platform the Phase 2 (object
orientated).
Represent the Product Assurance Automation team within Automation user
groups and periodic meetings.
Create a reporting process for publishing automation metrics to the
web using LabView or other Microsoft/HTML tools.
Set up a networked ASP environment allowing remote access to each test
platform.
Assist with the creation of a Produc
t Assurance web page, publishing
test scripts, test schedules, test progress and results, user
instructions, error logging and suggestion box.
