labview and PID vi's

Hi, i'm want to use the labview PID vi's, to control a furnace. The furnace is either on or off. If the PID vi has a proportional output e.g. 0-100%, how is it possible to control the furnace with just on or off's?? i'm also using compact fieldpoint to do this.

Is there any way to use PWM to control the furnace temperature. Based on the PID output you can change the duty cycle of the PWM? If you are using mechancial relays this may not be an option, but in case you are using solid state relays this can most likely be done.
