labview activex excel cells property

I would like to set a cell value in excel using labview activex via the cells property.
 
an example of it's use in visual basic is:
Worksheets("Sheet1").Cells(5, 3).value= 14

Check out the ActiveX examples that ship with LV, there is one that demonstrates exactly what you want.

the examples I see use range property with a string argument.

I would like to use cells property which has a integer arguments.

The value property is actually typed as a variant on the property node so it will pass whatever you wire to it. On the VI it was typed as a string for greatest flexibility. All you have to do is convert the number to a string.
