labview 8.2 daqmx missing

Hi!

I had Labview 8.2 with device drivers installed(don't know which version) and had DAQmx VI installed. Then I purchased cDAQ-9178 and downloaded http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2214/lang/en. Now when I open Labview DAQmx Clear Task.VI, and other DAQmx VIs are missing. I downloaded NI device drivers August 2010 and still nothing. How can I get those missing VI back, or what device drivers should I download to get full functionality of Labvie 8.2 and cDAQ-9178?

Did you look at the README for that version of DAQmx? Obviously not, because if you had, you would have seen that it says the earliest version of LabVIEW that it supports is 8.5.

Don't download versions without checking to see what software it supports. This means reading the READMEs and the Release Notes.
