internet vi

Hi:
I request the control of my VI by Internet Explorer.
The VI has a numeric indicator where I put a value, when I press "Back Space" on this numeric indicator in order to delete its current value it backs to the previous page.

What can I do to avoid this?

Hi,

Make sure that you are highlighting the numeric control before hitting backspace. This would ensure that backspace deletes characters and does not take you to the previous page.

Hi:

Thanks for your answer but the keyboard cursor is in the numeric control and when I hit backspace it backs to the previous page.

Hi,

Please make sure that you see the "enter text" icon(looks like a check mark) on the left-side of the toolbar on top of the page when you hit backspace. If you see the check mark and pressing backspace still takes you to the previos page, please let me know what version of labVIEW you are using. Also, the version of Internet explorer would be helpful.

Yes, the "enter text" icon looks like a check mark but even it backs to previus page, on my first message I attached a print screen named "screen" where you can view this.

I'm using LabView 7.0 Full and Internet Explorer 6.0

Thanks!!

Hi Gabriel,

I did notice the same behavior as you mentioned with LabVIEW 7.0 Full and Internet Explorer 6.0. This issue had however been resolved in LabVIEW 7.1 so I would suggest upgarding to LabVIEW 7.1.
