V7 uses a significantly changed version of MAX--as well as io drivers. If you didn't install the new drivers that could cause this problem. Alternately, there could have been an error during the installation that prematurely terminated the installation process.

Hello,
At what point do you get this message? If you just installed LabVIEW 7.0, you need make sure that you uninstall all your old drivers and reinstall them from the Driver CD that shipped with your LabVIEW 7.0 upgrade. When you reinstall the drivers, make sure that you include LabVIEW 6.1 support, if you want to use the drivers with LabVIEW 6.1 also. Hope this helps.
