instantaneous power

Hello,

I want to measure instantaneous power with TDS5032B oscilloscope.

I know that the  instantaneous power can be calculated through formula  equation.jpgprogram.jpg

My question is how to make that equtaion in program LabView.

I've tried with trigger model while simulating some sinus signal (which has instantaneous power zero for sinus ) but it doesn't seems to work so far.

Here is my picture of my program.

If anyone has any idea what would be the best approach for acquiring data through that equation?

Thank you for your ideas, and suggestions.

Regards,

Dodi

How are you getting the current?

If you are not measuring the current, then you should be using mean(v^2/R) where R is the system resistance.
