install LV 7.0 on vista

I am trying to install LV 7.0 on a  Windows Vista machine and all appears to go well except that when I click on the executable I get the message"The requested feature is unavailable on "C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\License  Manager\Licenses"

On the XP machine I am updating this file does not exist. I have upgraded my computer several times since I bought this version of LV. 

One difference is that I have gone to the software distribution in the short ring binders from 2005 for this as I have mislaid the original cd.

John,

You are seeing this error because LabVIEW 7.0 is not compatible with Windows Vista. You may consider upgrading to a newer version of LabVIEW or reverting back to XP.
