insert degrees celcius symbol into front panel text label?

Hi all, i can`t remember the method used to insert a degrees celcius symbol into a front panel text label.  I could simply paste from a previous piece of work but this is really bugging me.  Any ideas?

Grant_Cargill,

i am not sure what you think of by talking of "degree celsius", but i think that you are talking about "°C". this is very simply since "°" is the key on the top left beside the "1"-key (dont forget to hit shift as well 🙂 ).....

Grant_Cargill,

well, i believe that you do not use a standard-keyboard for PCs like in the picture i attached. if you cannot find a key with this symbolk (even with shift/alt/alt gr), you can try:
Press ALT and then type (with the numblock) "0186". Hold the ALT-key that long, then release ALT. "°" should appear. This is at least try for Arial and therefore for application-font asuming you are working on Windows-PCs.....

Norbert, my keyboard leyout is different from the attached picture.  However i did manage to create the symbol using the other method invloving the code "0186".  Can you tell me how you discovered that this symbol is represented by this number?
Thanks

Hi vinod00, have a look in your systems tools/character map and see what keystroke is currently assigned to your degree symbol.
