Hello All,

I am trying to change the classic tab color according to RGB settings. the result color is incorrect this can seen both visually and extracting color information using a drawing software.

How can I see the correct color?

Thank!

Hello GIl,

I just checked in LabVIEW 2018, setting the color interactively or by property node - both times the resulting color is correct.

Can you provide more details: LabVIEW-version, how do you change the color, perhaps upload an example VI with your tab-control.

Regards, Jens

Is it just a wrong shade or completely different color?

What is the set color and what is the color you detect with drawing software?

If you can, please share your VI.

Are you sure it's a classic tab and not a system tab (or a classic tab customized with parts from a system tab). System controls have various parts that you can't color at all as they take whatever color the system color scheme defines. These parts retain the attribute to use a system color even if you copy them into another control that in itself is not a system control.

This is NOT a tab control from the classic palette but from the modern (3D) palette.

There you have a small influence of the 3D-highlighting.

Ok,

This solves the mystery.

I was unaware that there are classic and modern...

Thanks!
