Hi,
I am excited to announce the availability of J2534-compliant Labview drivers
for DrewTech's CarDAQ2534 to the Labview community. This provides an easy,
in-vehicle interface to "get on the bus".
A PassThru interface provides access to sensors on the in-vehicle network
and the ability to reprogram a vehicle ECU, set calibrations, or perform any
task which needs access to the vehicle bus. The CarDAQ is well-suited for
in-vehicle use with a rugged aluminum case, sealed connectors, and an
industrial (-40 degC) temperature rating. It connects through the OBD-II
(J1962) connector, and host interfaces include: ethernet, serial, and 802.11
WiFi on CarDAQ+.
It provides a single interface for model year 1996+ vehicle-network
diagnost
ic protocols including: J1850 VPW and PWM (Class2, SCP), ISO 9141,
CAN, ISO 15765, ISO 14230. Diagnostic protocols (OBD-II, calibration,
OEM-specific) can sit at a higher level, relying on J2534 to "PassThru" all
messages to the vehicle network. This way, Labview applications have a
hardware-independent and protocol-independent interface for in-vehicle
communication.
I'm currently porting the software to Labview RT, to add support for compact
fieldpoint and compactRIO hosts. If you're interested, please contact

website www.drewtech.com for more information. Thanks!
