dear sir,

 i am using labview 8.2. and i am having some question regarding pictures.

  Now my application is that i want to import some pictures like logos, circuit diagrams from word document. Is it posiible if yes please help me for this

Hi falgandha mohire,

if you want static pictures you can insert them with drag and drop. If you want to work with pictures, load them while the program is running, then use the picture functions.

 thanks a lot

i want a static picture which is already present in my word file. Now when program starts i will selecte the path for the file and i want that the picture indicator will automatically display the picture which is pesent in word file.

Hi falgandha mohire,

and if the word file change, then it is another picture?? In this case you have to use activeX to get the picture from the word file and then the picture functions to show it in your indicator.

                                  R u asking "how do i read an image file and dispaly?" R u intrested in bringing ur company logo(for ex) in your front panel?U can directly copy paste. Do u want to read a image present in a doc that will keep changing?
