Hello,
I am looking for a FPGA implementation of a PWM switching scheme. I have the following resources to work with... i wanted to know if it is feasible to come up with a working system with the available things..
-LabView 8.6 and LabView FPGA
-Xilinx Spartan-3E startter kit
Would i need any of the NI hardware to communicate with the Spartan kit? Or is the data cable which comes with the starter kit enough?
Can you also direct me to some tutotials on getting started with LabView FPGA.. any documents for beginners?
Regards,
Shravan.

Hello,
Take a look at this page.
Please note it says:
"The LabVIEW FPGA for SPARTAN 3E XUP driver was developed to enable educators to use LabVIEW FPGA to teach digital and embedded design concepts. This driver is for educational use and cannot be used on custom FPGA hardware."
If this does not apply to you, then please take some time to look at the NI compactRIO FPGA product which may be better for your application:
If you are eligible to use the SPARTAN 3E XUP driver, then a video introduction and tutorials are available.
Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot, Mark!
I have just got hold of LabView FPGA software in my college and have to start exploring it . I am sure I would have a lot of questions to ask. So, I will get back to you in that case! 🙂
Best Regards,
Shravan.
