imaqdx acquire every other frame

Good day, I have two camera's installed. One is GigE the other is from a cheap Video/USB converter. I set GigE to acuire at 15fps. The Video/USB converter doesnt allow me to set frame rate (~30fps) but I would like the images from both camera's to be somewhat the same fps.  Is it possible to just grap every other frame so that my effective fps is 15.

I can set the GigE to 30fps, but when I start recording the system starts dropping frames from the Video/USB convertor.

Thanks

John

Hi shenlung,

You can do a Low Level Grab situation where you can grab and dispose of specific buffered frames. That way you can sync up your grabs from both sides (approximately). Check the IMAQdx shipping examples for IMAQdx low-level grab.
