imaq read file

HI , I am new to Lab view. I am trying to read a stored PNG image file using IMAQ Read File. but I am not sure how to use the Image input to IMAQ read file. My expectation is that I will be able to read this image and then convert it to 2D array for processing. Thanks .

Hi Imran.

It's just the opposite: You must specify an image that will take(!) the contents of the file your are reading.

Next step: You want to see the image. For this, you have to wire the image (e.g. to an Image Display indicator).

Valuable reading that will make it clear comes from NI, e.g. the NI Vision Concepts Manual
