i need to generate x bit lenght file

I need generate x bit length file and labview only allows 16 bit signed files and 8 bits with floating point. What can i do?? Do i need a library??

What exactly do you mean by x bit? LabVIEW allows you to write binary files of any of the supported data types (U8, I8, U16, DBL, etc.). Do you need to create files with an unsupported data type?
