how to use labview run time

Hi everybody.
I am a user of labview 6.1 and I would like to run a *.vi from labview 7.0
I've downloaded labview runtime 7.0 (LVRunTimeEng.exe) but after being installed, i find no *.exe, and windows (on a computer without labview) does not associate the *.vi with the runtime installed.
How can I use the runtime engine installed ?

The runtime engine allows you run the built labview applications, not the source code ".vi" themselves. Although I never use it, but NI has another product, LabView player, which should allow you to run the source code without labview being installed.

Le Run-Time 7.0 ne servira qu'à faire tourner les exe LV développés avec LV 7.0. Il ne permet pas de charger et d'exécuter un code source.
Télécharger le LV Player est une solution (ni.com/downloads>>Drivers and Updates et entre "LabVIEW/LabVIEW Player").
Nous pouvons aussi vous envoyer une version d'évaluation de LV 7.0 (laissez-nous vos coordonnées).
Une dernière solution consiste à demander à la personne qui vous a donné ce code source en 7.0 de le recharger sous 7.0 et de le sauvegarder en 6.1 (Fichier>>Enregistrement avec Options).
