how to use XY graph as a chart

Hi I have an XY graph. both connected to differnt arrays but I would like to dynamically show the changes of y values while X is passing. something like a chart. lets assume X is frequency and y is amplitude.

i would really appreciate your help on this question

you mean a spectrum analyzer..lookup "amplitude spectrum.vi" from the help...

No the x value can be anything like position,frequency, time . just I would like to use XY graph as a chart. in a chart the x axis is time but for me it is something else .it is an array if frequencies

charts are based on an increasing time...as long as you have that parameter fullfilled(an increasing variable), you could possibly use a chart

Look at the example called XY Chart. There have also been numerous examples posted of using a couple of shift registers with a build array for each. There is even the Express XY Graph.
