Hi Mathan,
Thanx for the reply. I got the sample vi from the link which u sent. But the lable is displayed with some junk data.
How to change my windows settings. What if it changes the windows text to japneese. I wil not be able to interact with the pc.
And how do i translate the text file to other language. Please give some example vi which i can run is LV8.0.
Thanks,
Yogesh

Howdy muks,
First I would like to thank you.
I have gone through the kb link. After goin through the same link I got a lot of doubts which I have explained earlier.
The steps which I did-->
1)I have exported the strings.
2)I copied all the text in the text file and translated the same into Japanese.
3)And I copied the same(Japanese) into a new text file(with same file name as of the VIs). But its giving error.
I dono what to do. It would be helpful if I get any vi or the procedure to translate the txt file or the strings which I should I translate.
Regards,
Yogesh

Can you specify what is the error u r getting?

muks,
Thanks for the reply.
Now I am not getting the error. I was translating the label and also the type of indicator. So it was giving control name mismatch.
Now I am not getting error, but, some junk characters are being imported though the data is in the text file. Do I have to do any changes in LV.
Regards,
Yogesh

Hi Yogesh,
Please refer to this knowledgebase article for guidance on how to publish or run your VI in a different language only for labels, during run-time or previous to run-time. Choose the option that best fits your purpose. Also look at the related links section at the bottom of the article for more information.
