how to simulate a ramp signal and an on-line graph

I am considering to simulate a ramp wave for my application which is used to load a tension test apparatus. I am currently not able to simulate it, since LabVIEW 7.1 only has an option of simulating sine, triangle, square etc.
Kindly reply me with the earliest.

I am having one more problem. I am currently having 2 dynamic datas and I need to display an online graph of these 2 variables. Please help. I do not want to fit any data, but I want a online raw data graph.
If not possible can I use DDE to transfer these data online to excel and get the graph? If so HOW?
Please guide me wichever is easier.

Awaiting for your reply,

Hi,

find attached a "reduced vi" - I have removed all of the driver parts
from KEITHLEY K2400-SMU. This instrument is very useful for
Voltage- or Current-ramping.
Have a look to the "sweep values" sub.vi - this vi
creates the values for these ramps (linear/logarithmic /binary and arbitrary)......
simply test it.
The picture in zip-file shows, how Diodes are evaluted with this program.

This is my answer for first part of your question.
Hope this helps.

Regards
Werner

A sawtooth signal is a ramp signal once you add a DC offset to it to make it all positive.
