how to format string in vertical format?

I have %-20.20s%s in my format section and I'd like to have the string in vertical format, now its in horizantal form.

I dont think there is an easy way to do this but I used this example provided by Bob Young which uses picture controls. Have a look at it and hope it helps.

I can't open the vi because I have version 7.0 and this vi is version 7.1. can you send me 7.0 version?

I had trouble saving to Ver 7.0 so i attached a bmp of the block diagram.
