how to create own IDE FOR LABVIEW (like vision builder)

Hi all,

My question quite funny i know that.

i like to create Labview Application IDE like Vision Builder .

How to do that ?

As far as I know Vision Builder is developped with LabVIEW, the source code of course is not public... But why do you want to create a new IDE for LabVIEW? LabVIEW is an IDE, no?

Also I think Vision Builder uses a lot of scripting and subpanels, I can't help you much more than that.

For us - outside of NI - scripting cannot not be used in an EXE, they reserve that for their applications no it's going to be a tough job.

however you are able to use VI scripting if you when using the development environment.
