Most Eurotherm controllers speak the Modbus protocol. The Dataloigging and Supervisory Control Module for LabVIEW (LV-DSC) has a driver which can talk Modbus. Using this LV-DSC, reading and writing to the Eurotherm controller becomes very trivial.
