how to add all element of array?

1-D array has N number of element .i want to sum all the element ,and the result is a number.
 
can you give me some example?

Just use the "Add Array Elements"-function located in the Numeric palette.

this is dead easy... just have to know it exists 😉

have a look in the "numeric" section of the function palette (see picture)

You'll find that there is an "Add Array Elements" function in the "Numeric" functions palette, this does exactly what you want.
 
If you can't find it - look up the function name in the "Help" index.

Thanks - that's the experience of a few more posts ;).
 
Adding the picture is no problem:
1. Post it as attachment (as you did)
2. Open the link in a new window and copy the url to the clipboard
3. Edit your original message
4. Choose "Insert an Image" from the toolbar and paste the previously copied url
 
That's it - just have a try with your previous post.

I am a new to LabVIEW.    I have another to ask you is that ,can you tell me about the differences between picture and IMAQ .    i know a color picture has RGB .how to  every pixel ' RGB?
