how to acquire and save video from my camera?

hello. how can i develop a VI that can acquire and save video from my camera? Thank you?

Hi,

You will have to acquire and save the video frame by frame.  I would start in the LabVIEW example finder and find Grab.vi, this will show you how to acquire the images.  Then you will need to store them in whatever format you want.

But now I even don't know how to acquire video using Labview. My camera is a Raytek camera with temp measurement. It doesnt have labview library for programming. So what can I do to make it work with labview? Thank you.

Why don't you provide more information before asking for help, e.g.,

What version of Labview you are running

Which Operating system and version

Do you have NI Vision program,

What is the model number of your camera

What is your setup

What are your program goals

What have you done at this point
