how do i construct a 2d array inthe front panel

only a 1d array is present in the control panel,how to construct matrices like 3*4.

Right click on index display of the 1D array, next on the pop-up menu that comes up, select Add Dimension. This converts the 1D array to one that's 2D. See the attached file.

Select the 1d array and then drag the index box on the top left down so that
there are 2 index's showing. In the same way higher dimensional arrays can
be made.
