I belong a motor. It runs for some seconds. It stops. When it's stopping, I save files, for example : file1, file 2...
After that, it runs and I want to save other files file1, file2... but in another documentation.
Is it possible?

Hi,

You can generate file names from LV. Just create a path as you like (e.g.
"d:\data\file 02062004 1530.msm") as a string, and convert it to a path. Use
this path to create a new file to write to. The file name can have a
timestamp, to ensure it is unique.

If the directory doesn't exist, you have to create it first.

Regards,

Wiebe.
