help with while loop

Hi,
I am getting started in labview -I was trying to do one of the exercises in chapter 2, Getting started with lab view
I have a block diagram that has a random number, random plot chart and boolean stop button terminal.
When I tried to put a while loop in the block diagram so that it enclose the random number function, the random plot chart and the stop button terminal, I don't see the above three functions. I only see a while loop enclosed. I would greatly appreciate if anyone could tell me if I am missing anything anywhere

I am using lab view 6.1 on windows 2000.

When you created the while loop, I think you didn't do the click and drag correctly. Your old controls are still there - it's just that they're behind the while loop and not inside the loop. Move just the while loop and I'm sure they'll be there. You can also select the while loop and from the Reorder menu, select Move to Back. Usually, you can then select the controls and just moving them slightly will move them to inside the loop.

To correctly enclose controls in the first place, right click the mouse to bring up the palette. Choose the while loop. You should see a small dashed line while loop on the diagram. Left click the mouse where you want to start the while loop. As you drag the mouse, you should see a dashed line box. Keep dragging until this das
hed box encloses your controls. Let go of the mouse button and the controls will be inside the while loop.

Use the the Position/Size/Select Tool (loacated in Tool Palette, first row, middle icon) to move the while loop around, can you see anything underneath?
