Did you configure correct IP address in your project?

Through max i configured and installed the appropriate softwares on target. Next, I right clicked and entered the target IP address for RT target - so that (0.0.0.0 in figure below) was replaced by the target IP address.

So do you get the error message when you try to connect to the RT by right clikcing the Target in project?

Yes. And exactly the same message(one in the 1st figure in my earliest message) pops up also when right click to contents of build specifications to run at start-up.
Thanks!

Ok, please create a new project and in that go to "Targets and Devices" and try to add you RT system which is existing. This would make sure that the project is able to communicate with the RT. Once it is added then try to connect with it, if it is successful then you can proceed to deploy the code into your RT.

I have the same issue. I follow your advice and create a new target from the detected one.
But still not working and fail to connect.

Make sure that all the softwares(the 3 softwares) installed on the target are of the same version corresponding to the labview you have(for 2014 14.0 and for 2015 15.0.0). After you build and deploy the target VI, run the RT target VI and then run the windows-main VI.

Is it working for you?

No, very frustrating!
I have updated my Labview and Real-Time module to the same version as my MAX, which is 15.0.
